How to Use
- Inspect the hoist, hooks, safety catches and chain before each use. Do not use if any part is worn, bent, cracked or damaged.
- Confirm the load does not exceed the 0.75 tonne working load limit and ensure a suitable anchoring point is used.
- Attach the top hook securely to the anchor point and the bottom hook to the load, making sure both safety latches close fully.
- Take up slack in the chain and set the directional selector for lifting, pulling or lowering as required.
- Operate the lever handle with steady, controlled strokes to move the load. Keep the chain straight and avoid shock loading.
- Once the load is in position, secure it appropriately before releasing tension. After use, clean the hoist and store it in a dry location.

We bought this for our fabrication unit and the 6m chain has been the standout feature. Most units we looked at were much shorter, so having the full reach as standard saved us paying extra straight away.
Used it for positioning steel frames in our workshop and the ratchet lever action feels controlled and solid. The G80 chain and clear load markings gave us more confidence than some cheaper imports.
Good compact manual chain hoist for van stock. We use it for pulling and lifting awkward parts in a plant maintenance setting, and it has handled regular use well so far.
Strong bit of kit and arrived quickly. The only minor point is that at nearly 10kg it is not featherlight, but that is expected with a steel-bodied lever hoist and long chain.
I compared this with a Tiger Lifting option and once the longer chain upgrade was factored in, this worked out better value. It has been very useful for warehouse lifting hoist jobs where standard lengths were too limiting.
We used it for pulling a machine base into alignment and it did the job cleanly. I would have liked a storage bag included, but the hoist itself feels durable and well made.
